Reaching out for help
Asking for help is never easy however if you think you might be in an abusive relationship, contacting your local support service can be an important first step. Domestic abuse support services are trained to help you explore your options and help to guide you to make safe decisions that are right for you.
You are not weak, you are not to blame and you are not alone.
Worried about someone else?
With one in four women and one in six men experiencing domestic abuse in their lifetime, it is highly likely that you will know or come across someone that is experiencing domestic abuse. This could be a relative, friend, neighbour or work colleague who is experiencing that abuse behind closed doors.
(The ManKind Initiative is not responsible for quality of support any organisations found within this directory provide.)
